The Ministry of Finance ranks Punjab National Bank (PNB) as the best PSU bank for digital transactions

A central government report has put the Punjab National Bank as the best PSU bank in the overall digital transaction category in India.

According to a statement by the National Central Bank on Saturday, the Ministry of Finance prepared the report card for the performance of the banking sector in digital transactions as of 31 July 2018.

According to the Financial Services Department (DFS), the technical decline percentage in PNB was only 0.83 per cent of total transactions.

It has been rated as the top 6 in the general category among all banks in India for digital performance.

The statement said, “The bank is fully committed to the digital initiative of India.”
